We can go through this section and really pin everyone in the room down with guilt. I even have scriptures that help me do it. If you feel like conviction is what is needed then maybe go that route but I think for most guys they need to understand desire and how desire is good before it gets perverted. So although we are going to start with some of the stats of the porn industry we are going to try and move from the false reality to the reality that porn captures us in. False reality is that we look at porn because we have desire and by looking at porn we are in control of that desire. The reality is that we lose control when we look at porn. We lose control of our emotions, our discernment, our ability to love, our sense of reality etc. etc. Think of the matrix, porn casts a perceived reality that this is what life is all about and women and relationships are just there to be used and your marriage relationship is going to look like this. The reality behind the veil is darkness, loneliness, guilt, shame, broken and failed relationships etc etc. When desire is redeemed back to the ?imago dei? it allows us to love passionately and wholistically.

What do you think girls think about this?
Why do you think some girls act like they like to be objectified or why do they play to this weakness of ours?
Read Genesis 1:26-27 ? What does the image of God look like?
If you were looking at porn and saw it through the eyes of God, how would you feel or what would you see?
