Back to School Retreat
Our Back to School Retreat is August 27-29. We will leave from north CFLC at 6pm on Friday, August 27th. The retreat will end at noon on Sunday, August 29th. Cost is $75. Your money and application are due by Sunday, August 22nd. Applications will be available soon.

Grant & April McCloskey
Our new Sr. High Youth Pastor, Grant McCloskey, and his spouse, April, will begin their ministry here at the end of August. Be praying for them as they transition from their previous church to here. |
SMT 2010 Report
This Sunday, August 1, the senior high has been invited to share our mission trip experiences during the Sunday evening service. All youth and adult participants in the 2010 Summer Mission Trip should plan on attending.

KC District Assembly Dodgeball
There will be a dodgeball tournament during the KC District Assembly, August 4-6. The cost is $5 per team, and each team must have 6 players. The main dodgeball tournament will occur in MNU’s Land Gym next Wednesday night, August 4, 9pm-11pm. The Dodgeball Finals will occur in Land Gym on Friday night, August 6, 9pm-11pm. Sign up in the back with your team members and team name. |
Nazarene KC District Assembly NYI Delegates
For those who have signed up to be an NYI Delegate for the upcoming Kansas City District Assembly, you will need to attend the NYI Delegate Convention and Banquet on Friday, August 6th at 4pm in Uphaus Hall here at College Church. The NYI Convention will end around 6:30pm. Then there is an NMI/NYI Service in the sanctuary at 7pm. If you are interested in being a delegate and you have not signed up, talk to Ryan.

Nazarene Youth Conference 2011 is in Louisville, KY, July 5-10. Registration dates are July 15 - December 1, 2010. All the information you need is in the back of the HUB. Make all checks payable to KCD NYI! For more details, visit the NYC website at www.nyc2011.org. |
